An open trailer with many uses
Flatbed transport is suited to many goods that do not travel in an enclosed trailer, including lumber, pipe, building materials and machinery. The available deck space and the way the load is arranged determine how the trailer is used. At Transport JKM, flatbed trailers serve both materials deliveries and machinery moves.
Four flatbeds for different loads
The fleet includes a 36-foot flatbed, a 42-foot flatbed with a hydraulic ramp and two 44-foot flatbeds. Each has a capacity of 30,000 lb. The ramp on the 42-foot trailer provides a loading option for suitable machines. The different lengths and the ramp give the fleet a range of uses.
The truck-mounted forklift completes the delivery
Transport can include handling at the destination. Transport JKM has four truck-mounted forklifts with a capacity of 5,000 lb each. For suitable goods, the unloading equipment travels with the truck. This combination is useful when the delivery site has no forklift of its own.
Services suited to the goods being moved
Materials and machinery each have their own transport service, as do sheds, travel trailers and oversize loads. These service pages explain what Transport JKM can move. The team then selects the setup for each job: different goods call for different loading arrangements.
